Rabies is a deadly viral infection that is
spread via infected animal saliva that enters the body
through a bite or through broken skin. Most cases
of human rabies now come from the bite of bats or
raccoons. Foxes and skunks have also been known
to spread the disease. The incubation time typically
runs from 3 to 7 weeks. Once symptoms appear, the
disease is almost always fatal.1
Traditional Approach: A rabies vaccine administered
promptly and appropriately almost always prevents
the onset of the infection. 1
Studies Show:
• Vitamin C inactivates (kills) the rabies virus 2
• Vitamin C was found to be effective in the
prevention of rabies in guinea pigs 3
